Two notifications of participation in the alliance were received by the deadline
The contract notice was published on 1 December 2021, and the deadline for submitting a notification of participation was 7 January 2022. Two alliances submitted their notifications by the deadline. Large Finnish construction companies are involved in both alliances.

Kokkolan kaupunginhallitus hyväksyi kokouksessaan 27.9.2021 Kokkolan Urheilupuiston konseptin. Päätös on Urheilupuisto-hankkeen etenemisen kannalta ratkaiseva, sillä se määrittelee ne linjaukset, joiden mukaan Urheilupuiston suunnittelua aletaan viemään eteenpäin.
