The Kokkola Sports Park alliance started its operations at the end of March 2022. The first phase is about deciding the content and implementation of the Sports Park complex as well as determining the budget and plans. The Kokkola Sports Park Alliance launched its first planning phase roughly a month ago, in early April. On Monday 2 May, the members of the Alliance got their first chance to introduce themselves to the Kokkola City Council and give a situation report on the progress of the first phase of design.
